TREX Challenge A Success!

COVID-19 can't stop the King of Dinosaurs! Although we were sad to have to cancel the annual TRrex 5k in memory of Kari Lee, we couldn't let all those fabulous costumes gather dust so we introduced the 1st annual TREX Challenge and asked our supporters to submit photos and videos of themselves in costume going about their daily activities.

And holy tiny arms did we get some fabulous submissions! From playground antics to beach lacrosse to lawn mowing to boat time, the week served to not only raise some much needed funds for our expanding programs but provided some much needed laughter during these uncertain times. Thanks to SCF board chair Tyler Lee for ponying up funds for every submission and a big shout out to Wendy Hill who snagged the coveter 'second greatest TRex of all times (the first being Kari Lee in photo above) ' title with her Dizzy Dino entry that had our young judges laughing out loud!
