During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering relief to cancer patients who are in the hospital for more than 10 consecutive days without their caregiver 's physical support.
Following CDC guidelines, items from the outside will be brought in by cleared hospital staff, ensuring there is no increased exposure.
Each patient/caregiver team selects items that have been chosen by other survivors and caregivers from our online store to help make the inpatient stay and ongoing cancer journey easier.
Quarterly gatherings where members can socialize away from the hospital and get to know others who have faced similar challenges.
In memory of Kari Lee, tribe members are able to customize bears from our sponsors at Build-a-Bear for themselves and their kids at home, creating a physical connection between them while separated during treatment.
Weekly inpatient visits with the option to request delivery items including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and more, ensuring both patient and caregiver know they are not alone on the road back to health.
Volunteers donate gifts for select tribe members, ensuring they are able to celebrate the holidays with loved ones.
